Notes from Around the Web

The demise of American Jewish Life has been duly noted. The Forward's coverage is among the lengthier pieces.
I have to confess that I've had no interest in seeing You Don't Mess with the Zohan, and not even this dialogue between Jeffrey Goldberg and Michael Chabon can change my mind.
Really enjoyed the summer literary section, focusing on Israeli writing, in this week's Jewish Week. I found Diane Cole's take on Etgar Keret's work quite on-target (that is to say, in keeping with my own reading experience!).
